Tiina Maria Nevanperä has a multidisciplinary background in the fine arts: painting, visual culture, aesthetics and art theory and art therapy. She has a Doctor's degree in Art (Aalto University, School of Arts and Design, Finland) and a Master's degree in Visual Culture and Art theory (Kingston University; Centre for Research in Modern European Philosophy, UK). She studied painting in Free Art School in Helsinki, Finland between 2000-2004.
Tiina's work is inspired by the notions of both sensibility and incompleteness throughout the process of painting. Her works derive from the nature. Her recent paintings study how creativity manifests itself through the aimed harmony between sensibility, incompleteness, matter and nature as on ongoing organic process. Tiina's doctoral thesis: In the Flesh of Sensibility, Unravelling Incompleteness with Art. https://aaltodoc.aalto.fi/handle/123456789/24840 Contact: [email protected] |
